Part 1 — Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, including name, email address, age of the student, parent or guardian contact details, and payment information when applicable. During live classes, we may also collect audio, video, chat messages, and other content a participant shares in the session.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve our educational services
  • Process enrollment and manage student accounts
  • Communicate with parents and guardians about classes, progress, and safety
  • Send educational updates, newsletters, and marketing communications (you can opt out at any time)
  • Respond to your comments, questions, and customer service requests
  • Comply with legal obligations and protect our rights

3. Children's Privacy

Our services are intended for ages 9-19 with parental or guardian consent. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child without that consent. We will never sell personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Live Class Recording & Safety

Live classes may be recorded. Recordings are used for training, quality assurance, and reference purposes only.

  • Recordings are not shared with third parties, other than the service providers we rely on to host video sessions and store files, who act on our behalf.
  • Recordings can be deleted upon request. Email youngmba.academy@gmail.com and we will remove the recording.
  • By joining a live class, participants (and parents or guardians of minors) acknowledge that the session may be recorded.
  • Participants should not share sensitive personal information (such as home addresses or passwords) during live sessions.

5. Data Retention

We keep personal information only for as long as it is needed to provide our services, meet the purposes described in this page, and comply with legal, accounting, or reporting obligations. Class recordings are kept only for as long as they are useful for training, quality assurance, and reference, and are deleted when no longer needed or sooner upon request. When information is no longer required, we delete it or anonymize it. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Your Rights below).

6. Data Security

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

7. Third-Party Services & Cookies

We use third-party services such as payment processors, video-conferencing and communication platforms, and analytics providers to operate the Service. Each handles data under its own privacy policy. We also use cookies and similar technologies to understand activity on our site; you can configure your browser to refuse cookies or to tell you when one is being sent.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, to request deletion of class recordings, and to opt out of marketing communications. To exercise these rights, contact us at youngmba.academy@gmail.com.

Part 2 — Terms of Service

9. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the YoungMBA website, courses, and related services (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If the student is a minor, a parent or legal guardian must agree to these Terms on their behalf.

10. Description of Service

YoungMBA offers online educational programs for ages 9-19 in two formats: Live (Live Masterclass for ages 9-13 and Live MBA for ages 14-19) and Self-Paced (Financial Foundations and Financial Masterclass, ages 13-19, coming soon). Our curriculum covers business foundations, financial literacy, AI tools, marketing, leadership, and entrepreneurship.

11. Account Registration

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep account details confidential. For users under 18, a parent or guardian must complete enrollment and supervise the account.

12. Payment & Subscriptions

Certain programs require a paid subscription. During our soft launch, Live Masterclass and Live MBA are offered free of charge; regular pricing will apply afterwards and will be shown on our programs page before any charge. Prices are listed in US dollars (USD) on our Programs page. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. We offer a 2-week money-back guarantee on select programs as indicated at the time of purchase. Refund requests must be submitted through our Contact page. Students removed under the Class Conduct Rules below are not eligible for a refund.

13. Service Availability

We work to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. Live classes may be rescheduled, shortened, or cancelled because of instructor availability, technical problems, or events beyond our control, and we may modify, suspend, or discontinue features or programs. Self-paced courses marked "Coming Soon" are not yet available, and launch dates are not guaranteed. Where we cancel a scheduled live class, we will work with you to reschedule it.

14. Class Conduct Rules

All students are expected to behave respectfully and appropriately in live classes, chats, and community spaces. This includes being kind to classmates and instructors, following instructor directions, and not disrupting sessions.

  • No harassment, bullying, hate speech, or inappropriate language or content
  • No sharing of account logins, class links, or recordings
  • No impersonation, cheating, or misuse of the platform
  • No use of the Service for any unlawful purpose

Students who do not follow these rules may be warned, removed from a class, suspended, or permanently banned without a refund.

15. No Financial or Legal Advice

YoungMBA is an educational service. We do not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Course content, examples, and discussions are for learning purposes only and should not be relied upon to make real financial or legal decisions. Consult a qualified professional for advice specific to your situation.

16. No Guarantee of Results; Not an Accredited Institution

We do not guarantee any particular results, grades, test scores, admissions outcomes, career outcomes, or financial returns. Outcomes depend on each student's effort and circumstances.

YoungMBA is not an accredited or official educational institution and does not grant degrees, diplomas, or academic credits. Students who complete a program receive a certificate of completion from YoungMBA, which is not an academic or professional qualification.

17. Intellectual Property

All course content, materials, branding, and platform design belong to YoungMBA. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from them without written permission.

18. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, YoungMBA is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.

19. Governing Law

These Terms and any dispute arising from the Service are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, and the courts of British Columbia have jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Part 3 — Child Safety

20. Parental Supervision

Our students are minors. Parents and guardians must supervise their child's use of YoungMBA, including enrollment, account use, live classes, and any online interaction connected to the Service. Parents and guardians are responsible for ensuring their child's device, internet use, and environment are appropriate during sessions.

21. Parent Communication Policy

We communicate with parents and guardians about enrollment, schedules, program updates, conduct, and safety.

  • The parent or guardian email provided at enrollment is our primary point of contact for matters affecting a minor student.
  • We may contact students directly only for class-related purposes such as session links and reminders.
  • Parents and guardians may contact us at any time at youngmba.academy@gmail.com with questions, concerns, or requests, including requests to review or delete their child's data or class recordings.
  • Conduct issues or safety concerns involving a student will be communicated to the parent or guardian.

22. Staying Safe in Live Classes

We take student safety seriously. Class links are for enrolled students only and must not be shared. Instructors and students should use YoungMBA sessions and channels for class communication. If you see anything that concerns you, or a student feels uncomfortable, tell a parent or guardian and contact us right away at youngmba.academy@gmail.com.

23. Changes to This Page
